Fresh Ideas for a New Term

We’ve joined Pinterest!

Pinterest is an online ‘notice board’ for sharing ideas and inspiration.  Parents, children’s volunteers and local preachers are welcome to have a look and find resources for Bible stories, crafts and prayer- as well as encouragement and ideas for living our faith as a family at home.  Have fun!  (click on the image to go to our shiny new Pinterest board)

One of our young contributors has been in touch to share a fun and interactive Bible games site called Superbook.

He writes,

Superbook is amazing! It’s got games, vidoes , radio, bible readings. I went on the artifacts game. What you need to do is look for patterns as fast as you can, but be quick because there is a time limit of 2 minutes. At the end of the level, you can find out about a bible artifact such as the ark of the covenant and the gizmo. Try it out !

Children can join the site’s Kids Club to play games, learn about Bible stories, and find kid-friendly devotionals.  It has a great information page for parents, including privacy policy and parental controls.  Sunday school leaders can click on the ‘Church’ link to find out more about their resources.  Looks like a great one for the family to check out!

You can try Superbook for yourself here: http://us-en.superbook.cbn.com/.  And tell us what you think in the comments below!
